Florence Code of Ethics

Introduction

At Florence, we are committed to promoting a framework of ethical behavior for all members of our community, including talents, mentors, trainers, supras, staff members and partners.

This Code of Ethics, which complements Florence's Articles of Association, sets out the fundamental principles that guide the interactions of all the foundation's stakeholders, and provides a framework for the day-to-day decision-making involved in its activities.

Florence's ethical commitments

In accordance with its corporate purpose and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, Florence's ethical commitments are as follows:

  1. Florence and all the foundation's stakeholders are committed to combating all forms of discrimination and promoting equal opportunities for all.
  2. Florence values open, constructive and respectful dialogue, enriched by its commitment to republican values.
  3. Florence guarantees freedom of conscience for all members of its community, be they talents, mentors, trainers, supras, staff or partners. Everyone is encouraged to express their convictions while respecting shared values.
  4. Each member of Florence is committed to acting with integrity and exemplarity, respecting not only legal standards but also the ethical expectations of the foundation.
  5. Mutual respect is the basis of all interactions within Florence, and should not be limited to communication, but extended to all behaviors.
  6. Each member or stakeholder is encouraged to contribute their energy and ideas to the collective success, fostering an environment where caring and recognition of diverse opinions are paramount.
  7. Beneficiary members are expected to recognize and value the efforts made by Florence for their development, including active involvement and sincere motivation, as well as an understanding of the realistic limits of what Florence can offer.
  8. Florence is committed to promoting sustainable and responsible practices, striving to minimize its ecological footprint and encouraging foundation members to adopt eco-responsible behavior.
  9. Florence encourages its members to help each other, whether it's the mentors helping the talents, or the talents themselves, whatever their origin, religion or political leanings.
  10. Florence encourages its members to open up to sensibilities and cultures other than their own, while respecting the shared values promoted by the Foundation and avoiding any form of communitarianism.
  11. Florence's teams remain aware of the positions of influence involved in mentoring practice, supervision and follow-up. All are committed to avoiding any abuse of power, ensuring fair and respectful interaction.
  12. Each Florence member, including talents, mentors, trainers, supras, staff members and partners, by his or her actions, represents the foundation and must therefore observe high standards of politeness and appropriate conduct in all circumstances. Florence expects its members to behave in a manner consistent with its values, and in particular does not accept :

This Code of Ethics is a commitment by every member of the Florence community to live and promote these values in all their activities. It is the foundation of Florence's mission and a constant reminder of our responsibility to each other and to society as a whole.

Protection of personal information

Florence affirms its commitment to compliance with applicable laws and regulations on the protection of personal data and undertakes, as far as possible, to preserve their security, confidentiality and integrity during their collection, processing and storage. Florence collects, stores and processes such data in accordance with the legal provisions in force, and in particular, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (the “RGPD”).

The processing carried out by Florence is based on the legal grounds established in the RGPD, and in particular on the foundation's legitimate interest, the data subject's consent to the processing of his or her data and the need to process personal data to comply with a legal obligation. Florence attaches great importance to the fairness and transparency of processing.

All data processing is carried out for explicit, legitimate and specific purposes. Florence may collect, process, manage and reuse data by computer. Access to information recorded in Florence's databases is strictly reserved to the foundation and, where applicable, in compliance with the RGPD, to its subcontractors.

Florence formally undertakes not to sell, transfer or rent to anyone for any reason whatsoever the personal information collected. Data is kept only as long as is strictly necessary for the purposes for which it is to be used. In accordance with the applicable regulations, all data subjects have the right to access, rectify, delete, limit, port and oppose the processing of their personal data. Compliance with the Code of Ethics

The Ethics Charter is signed by all Florence stakeholders, including staff members, board members, talents, mentors, trainers, supras and foundation partners.

By adhering to the Code of Ethics, everyone undertakes to respect the aforementioned ethical commitments and to contribute to creating a respectful environment.
